For two weeks in November, classrooms around the country will compete by doing what great maths has always required: showing their thinking, not just their final answers. There are loads of prizes up for grabs for winners as well as runners-up.
Only developmentally appropriate solutions submitted during November 16th - 27th will count toward competition totals. Pupils have to show their work!
Classes are ranked by solutions per student, so small and large classes compete on equal terms.
There will be prizes for winners and runners-up in every key stage/ phase/ progression step in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus overall UK winners.
All applications to join the competition must be submitted by Friday, November 13th.
